WomanWoRX Class Descriptions

Pilates ReformerRx
The Pilates Reformer classes are a dynamic class that work the entire body, especially the core and pelvic floor. The reformer machines add extra resistance to build strength and endurance more quickly. This class is perfect to add to your current fitness routine to add balance, flexibility, and strength. There are two levels offered. Pelvic Floor Level 1: Low impact on the pelvic floor.

Mat Pilates
Mat Pilates is a form of low-impact exercise that focuses on strengthening the core, improving overall strength, enhancing flexibility, enhancing postural alignment while using precise movements and breath control. Pelvic Floor Level 2: Moderate impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.

SculptRX
Yoga with hand weights incorporated. Set to upbeat music this class will build strength, make you sweat, yet leave feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Pelvic Floor Level 3: High impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.

BarreRx
A blend of ballet barre and Pilates, this class will work your entire body. Set at a ballet barre or on the mat, this class is a low impact way to build strong, elongated muscles throughout your entire body. Pelvic Floor Level 2: Moderate impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.

Strength + Mobility Rx
Progressive overload training, a strength training method that aids in building muscle, endurance and overall strength. The class is on a 4 week cycle, where week over week we work to track progress and increase the intensity of the workout to avoid plateauing and bringing you closer to your goals. Mobility will be woven into the start and end of class to focus on joint health, decrease risk of injury, reduce muscle tightness, and provide you with a sense of stability and control. Whether you are new to strength training, or have been doing it for years you are going to walk out of this class feeling confident, strong and challenged. Pelvic Floor Level 2: Moderate impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.

FlowRx
A vinyasa flow yoga class that will have you feeling empowered, balanced, and grounded. Pelvic Floor Level 2: Moderate impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.

RestoreRX
A form of yoga class where we hold the poses longer and focus on deep stretches and breathing. This class is gentle and perfect to do if you need to stretch and unwind. Pelvic Floor Level 1: Low impact on the pelvic floor.

CircuitRx
A simple, yet effective format with 4 Stations: Treadmill, Assault Bikes, Strength, and TRX. The combination of cardio machines and weight training is designed to get your heart pumping, increase endurance, build strength, and leave you feeling proud of what your body is capable of. CircuitRX is on an Upper/Lower/Total body Rotation. Pelvic Floor Level 2: Moderate impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.

CardioKickRx
A blend of cardio and kickboxing to high energy music in a lightly heated environment. Pelvic Floor Level 3: High impact on the pelvic floor. Use modifications as indicated by your provider.
