After Prolapse Surgery: What To Do Next

What to expect with prolapse surgery recovery:

Moving at a safe and strategic progression of exercise is important for proper tissue healing and overall recovery. It is common to initially feel pelvic floor heaviness, incontinence, frequency, and urgency. However, that will clear up as your recovery progresses.

We will guide you through hesitancy of exercising post surgery and we will safely teach you gentle and proper ways to recruit muscles. After a surgical procedure it is imperative to rebuild the brain body connection and our easy to follow program will help you do that.

Questions and concerns are common during this healing phase, if you have issues or need more individualized care, be sure to have a visit with a pelvic floor physical therapist.

Who is this for?

This is for women of every age and fitness level who have a prolapse surgery in the near future and those looking for optimal recovery after prolapse surgery. For women cleared by their provider to begin exercise.
